My fav song this week
We went to the Audio Adrenaline concert last Sat night (thanks Tara N for the tix) We LOVED it but this song by far was my favorite! The band leader wrote this song after he and his wife separated. We went Sun after church and bought their CD, I bet ya I've listened to it a hundred times this week, great CD.
We decided to take the kids with us (well, actually they wanted to go, they are into Christian music too and I figured they'd like it!) We were still there at 11pm, both kids were so tired they fell asleep! Now picture this - our family about 12 rows behind some massive speakers blaring music and my kids are asleep in their seats! Everyone around us was impressed they could sleep thru that! They def get that from me! Anyway, google the song, listen to it, it rocks!
Audio Adrenaline
Good Life lyrics
And blister in the sun
Everything I've ever had is unravelled and undone
I've set upon a worthless stack
Of my ambitious plans
And the people that I've loved the most
Have turned their backs and ran
CHORUS:
This is the good life
I've lost everything
I could ever want
And ever dream of
This is the good life
I found everything
I could ever need
Here in Your arms
Loneliness has left me searching
For someone to love
Poverty has changed my view
Of what true riches are
Sorrow's opened up my eyes
To see what real joy is
Pain has been the catalyst
To my heart's happiness
CHORUS
What good would it be
If you had everything
But you wouldn't have
The only thing you need

Swimming 101

Ky's school class took swimming lessons last week. (which I think every Kindergarten class should do....very important life lesson!) She already knows how to swim so she thought she was "hot stuff" The swim teachers were impressed with how well she did since she's never had a lesson before. I think our family is part fish, swimming just comes natural!

Kylin "saving" Taylor.....looks like Taylor is out of luck!! I'm so glad they taught them how to save someone and water safety.
