Getting his READING award! Yep, that's right, READING!!! Layton has worked SO hard this year. He has progressed so much. We are amazed at his progress and so extremely happy for him!

Drum roll please....Layton earned A-B honor roll!!!!

She got the Terrific Kid award for the 3rd time this year! Yeah, we know she's pretty terrific!

Smiling big cause she just earned herself the Principal award for the 2nd yr in a row! For the record, Terrific Kid and Principal awards are pretty awesome! Pretty much means she's a great kid at school. Love her and so proud of her!

Weekend madness

While most normal people were in bed asleep Saturday night/Sunday morning my boys along with some friends were on the lake fishing. They fished all night and got home about 5am Sunday! Crazy!

This past weekend was typical Wayne style - BUSY! 2 pool parties, 2 Crawdads games, late night fishing, church, family reunion and an afternoon at the lake tubing. Wouldn't have it any other way!

I couldn't watch, he had that sharp knife cutting right toward his hands! Yikes!

On Sunday the boys caught some catfish and decided to keep them since we were coming home and could clean them. Layton decided he was going to clean them....and he did! He is growing up so fast, doing manly stuff!

Joey caught this huge turtle, that sucker fought him not to come outta that water. He used his legs and pushed against the bank then eventually broke Joey's line! He was hissing like crazy, I do not want to mess with those things!

We did actually camp, the only pics we took were at the lake. We bought a used camper in Oct 2011 and just now had the chance to use it, turns out it works great and we got an awesome deal on it! Sure hope we can squeeze in another trip before the kids go back to school! Great memories!
