Update on school

Kylin loves reading to her baby dolls and bears. Last night while she was reading I heard her stop reading the book and say "Selina that is so inappropriate!" Where in the world she got that I don't have a clue and furthermore I have no idea what her bear Selina was doing that made Kylin tell her that! It was so funny, made me LOL!  It's amazing how much she picks up at school.
She likes her teacher, and has made new friends. Her BFFs from last year aren't in her class this year, she was so nervous about meeting new friends but she's doing great!

Layton got this note Friday from his teacher "Layton is a sweetie! I just love him!"

Yea, we are pretty proud of our little man! He is doing awesome so far, loves his teacher and thinks it's awesome that he has so many buddies in his class.
He thinks his teacher is so cool because she has a tattoo and she loves sports! He thinks she is the bomb!! We are so happy he got her!
So far so good on school year 2011-2012




Their school starts at 7:35 this year (an hour earlier than last year) and anyone that knows us knows we ARE NOT morning people!  Anyway, we have to leave our house by 7:15 to get to school on time....it's been a major adjustment from sleeping til 10am all summer now we have to be out the door a little after 7am! Hopefully mornings will get easier but other than that the kids are happy with school so I'm happy!!
