Mousepad

Easy as pie....old mousepad, scrapbook paper, and spray glue!! I'm excited about this one, I like to change things all the time so now I can have a "new" mousepad every time I change moods!

Boys night

Ky spent the night with Joey's mom, Layton is loving being the only child!! He and Joey ate an entire pizza and watched football!! I had kale chips and cereal for supper then worked on some projects that have been taking over the kitchen table.....and floor....and laundry room.....

Old shirt new seat cover

One of the women at the rest home was throwing out some old clothes and this shirt was in the pile. I didn't know what I could make with it but knew it had potential.

The santa hat and trophy

Ky got a trophy at soccer Thursday night. She spent the night with mom that night and would not leave her trophy at home, it had to go with moms with her. Friday we were in the dollar store and she wanted this santa hat. So....not only has she held onto her trophy for 3 days she has also wore a santa hat....she wore it with her Halloween shirt today! NICE!!

I wanted to take a good picture of Ky and her soccer trophy. All she wanted to do is make silly faces! She is a mess!! We are done with her soccer season, Layton still has 3 more weeks.

The kids were out of school today. They spent the night with mom and dad last night then I met them this morning for breakfast, Chuck E Cheese and some shopping. Then Joey picked me up at mom's house and we met Tara and Jason for a night out WITHOUT the kids!! FUN!!!!!!!!!

Yep, only in Hickory would you find something like this. Mom, the kids and I were in Mighty Dollar today and this display was up front....you gotta be kidding me!!!

Halloween wreath

Got this for a buck at the thrift store, I was so excited to find an oval frame!....that pictures is hand stitched. Someone spent a lot of time on it. Sorry to whoever spent all that time but I tore it apart!!

After Halloween all I have to do is remove this stuff and add Christmas decorations! I may spray paint it red or green.

Boring shirt turned not so boring!

I bought Ky this shirt on the clearance rack at WalMart. It is so boring for a little girl....I mean it's black and gray - BORING!

I made and added a simple flower, looks a little better but why stop there?

Total cost about $3.50.  And the best part is it's an original....just like Ky!!

Fall wreath

Found this beauty at Goodwill, I can't remember how much I paid for it.

I stripped off all that fabric and started wrapping it with this yard/twine stuff I found at another thrift store for $.25 a bolt.

Just kept wrapping til the whole thing was covered.

Final product. I keep looking at it and thinking it needs something else but I can't decide what!

Panthers game {part 2}

We had a blast with Layton. He was so funny, dancing and cheering with complete strangers. It was so fun to watch him!!
